David Torcasso is a journalist, editor, content and communication specialist, and has also worked as a strategic foresight consultant and researcher. He is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and Berlin, Germany, and frequently stays in New Delhi, India.

David’s journalistic work focuses on business-related topics, particularly in the areas of retail, commerce, consumerism, technology, entrepreneurship, luxury industries, art, fashion, design, culture, and travel. He specializes in conversations with visionary individuals, sharing fresh perspectives, ideas, and innovations related to the next generation, production, distribution, and outreach.

His expertise includes journalism, storytelling, copywriting, content production, conceptual work, brand consulting, communications, publishing, social media, editing, and visual communication. Additionally, he has experience in futures research, particularly in strategic foresight, advising corporations and SMEs on how to position themselves for the future.

David has collaborated with and written for publications such as Die Zeit, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Monocle, Interview Magazine, Tages-Anzeiger, Das Magazin, and L’Officiel Hommes. His clients have included Warner Music, The Future Laboratory, and Vitra, among others. He has also led projects for Deutsche Telekom, Volkswagen, MetaDesign, Lista Office LO, and Raiffeisen Verband Salzburg. Under this umbrella, he runs Torcasso Media, a company he founded in 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland.

I am a journalist and researcher—but not in the traditional sense. Of course, I have the qualifications and experience to write articles and create content. However, my approach is interdisciplinary; I do not differentiate between media houses, corporations, or universities. My goal is always to produce profound and engaging content that attracts sophisticated readers. In my work, I strive for the highest standards of independent journalism, with no compromises in quality and precision.
